Two dead in shooting at home in Beaver County, suspect in custody

A woman has been charged with shooting and killing two of her children in Ambridge, Beaver County, on Monday, Beaver County District Attorney David Lozier confirmed. Krisinda Bright, 48, has been charged with two counts of criminal homicide. She is being held in the Beaver County Jail without bond. The two victims were found dead inside a home following the shooting in the 900 block of Maplewood Avenue around 1:30 p.m. Ambridge police hold news conference: Watch a full replay of the news conference in the video player above. Investigators said late Monday evening that they were not able to notify all of the next of kin until just moments after the criminal complaint was filed, therefore the names of the victims have not yet been released.
