Lives saved and democracy defended. >> NOW AN 8-STORM TEAM FORECAST FROM WGAL NEWS WITH METEOROLOGIST ETHAN HOUSTON. ETHANE: ANOTHER DAILY DAY IN THE SUSQUEHANNA VALLEY. WE HAVE SOME breaks in the clouds in some places but later that evening, mostly after sunset, the rain rolls in and will stay with us until tonight. OVER GETTYSBURG, BREAKS IN THE CLOUDS. 45 DEGREES WITH A BREEZE FROM THE SOUTH EAST. NO FAILURES LOCALLY IN THE REGION ON OUR RADAR. IN THE WEST IS A POWERFUL STORM SYSTEM THAT CREATES EVEN BLIZZARD-LIKE CONDITIONS TO PART OF THE BIG SIMPLE. This works in its own way in the Great Lakes region and we will be on one side of the system. FOR US MOST RAIN. THESE REQUESTS – ARRIVE AFTER DARKNESS AND TEMPERATURES IN THE MIDDLE OF THE UPPER 40'S. A couple of points make a run at 50 degrees and winds could be 20 mph. CONTINUOUS RAIN WILL SURROUND TODAY AND YOU MAY SEE WET SNOWFLAKES TRYING TO MIX IN THE MAIN WEST OF NORTHERN HARRISBURG. LOWE & # 39; S WILL BE LOW BY MID 30. OR TOMORROW MORNING WE WILL START THE DAY WITH SUNSHINE, BUT IN THE AFTERNOON, WHILE THE STORM CENTER MOVES THE REGION, WE COULD SEE SCATTERED RAIN SHOWERS OR SNOW SHOWERS. I don't expect any accumulations as the ground will be warm and the air temperature will be between mid and mid 40's. SUNDAY, LOOK LIKE IT'S DRY, BUT BLUSTERY. ALTITUDE IN THE LOW TO MID 40. If you are factor in your 40s it could be 25 mph. It will feel like the 30s for the whole day. The chances of rain are low for the evening hour, but they will increase after sunset. The rain probabilities are the highest midnight and start to squeeze. It could easily mix up at times that we approached tomorrow. HERE ARE THE CURRENT TEMPERATURES, 39 IN LEBANON, 43 IN LANCASTER, 45 IN CHAMBERSBURG. WE HAVE COOLER AIR, BUT THERE IS NO LARGE DROP IN THE TEMPERATURES. What's the big story with this storm is the wind. Winds are maintained at 28 mph in six cases, South Dakota, 29 in North Plate. THE BACK OF THE STORM SYSTEM REALLY GENERATES THE WIND. YOU CAN SEE THE ORANGE ON THE MAP THAT BLIZZARD WARNINGS ARE STILL REAL. THIS STORM SYSTEM IS WORKING ITS WAY EAST. Let's find out things on PREDICTOR. We'll be on the warm side of the storm system. Lots of clouds stick around in the afternoon. Spotty showers are possible after sunset if we reach 8:00 to 9:00 in the evening. THAT'S WHEN THE STEADIER RAIN ARRIVES. RAIN SEASONS WILL ARRIVE IN THE MORNING. AFTER SUNRISE SATURDAY, YOU CAN SEE breaks in the clouds. If we ventilate in the afternoon, the center of the storm will get closer and we might see those body snow showers or rain showers. TEMPERATURES IN THE 40S THAT ARE NOT LOOKING FOR ACCUMULATION. Temperatures will be more seasonal as we go into next week. MLK DAY, IT COULD BUBBLE WITH HIGHS I
