Paul W. “Bill” Eisenhart, 70, of Kearneysville, passed away Saturday, Oct. 17, 2020, at the VA Medical Center, Martinsburg.
He was born June 6, 1950, in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. He was the son of the late Donald J. Eisenhart and Catherine (Randall) Eisenhart.
Paul retired from Raytheon Corporation as a Defense Contractor.
He graduated from St. Maria Goretti, in Hagerstown, Maryland. Also, he attended two years at Shepherd College.
He was a member of the Izaak Walton League of America-Jefferson County Chapter.
Paul served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam where he was presented the Joint Service Commendation Medal. He was awarded the Bronze Star, two Army Commendation Medals one with the First Oak Leaf Cluster and was given the rank of E-5.
He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Brenda K. (Willingham) Eisenhart; sons, Paul William Eisenhart and wife, Glenda, of Shepherdstown, Eric Jason Eisenhart and wife, Angie, of Luray, Virginia; grandchildren, Britney Nicole Eisenhart, Paisley Sarah Eisenhart, Kayla Van Pelt, Matthew Van Pelt, Summer Van Pelt; brothers, Donald Earl Eisenhart, of Keedysville, Maryland; James Michael Eisenhart and wife, Ann, of Hagerstown, Maryland; nieces and nephews.
Services and interment will be in private.
Arrangements are by the Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home, Charles Town.
