PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Partly cloudy skies are expected across the Philadelphia area on Tuesday before it warms up. Snow showers are still possible today far north and west of the city.
The snow build-up won't be much as we expect about 1 inch – mostly in height.

The region is finally going to have a nice day with highs in the 50s.
Sunshine and snow-free conditions will then prevail until the end of the week – which enables a lot of snowmelt.

Parts of eastern Pennsylvania have more than 10 inches of snow on the ground as of Monday night.
The weekend looks active when a storm system kicks in on Saturday, which can begin as snow and transition to rain.
And another system could be approaching the area on Sunday evening, although the models in this case are currently unclear. But this event would mainly be rain.
