A man fatally shot near the Indiana University of Pennsylvania’s campus Saturday morning was a Homewood South resident.The Indiana County Coroner identified the victim as Jaedyn Wright, 20, of Rosedale Street. It has been confirmed that Wright was a third year student at IUP.Indiana Borough Police found the unresponsive man in a private parking lot on Oakland Avenue around 4 a.m.Officers said the victim suffered a gunshot wound to his upper body.First responders performed life saving measures and he was transported to a local hospital where he later died.Police are still investigating, but say there is no threat to the community.
