Upper Adams School District (UASD) reported its first two cases of COVID, one at Biglerville Elementary School on November 23 and one at the middle school on Tuesday.
The announcements came in letters sent to the parents and did not indicate whether the cases where students, faculty, or other staff.
All UASD schools are remaining open.
The district said it had contacted any person who may have been within six feet of the exposed individuals for at least 15 minutes and advised them to quarantine for 14 days.
The district said students who have not been contacted about a quarantine can continue to safely attend school.
The UASD is following all health and safety protocols to thoroughly clean and disinfect the school campus. An electrostatic machine is being utilized to conduct a deep clean of the school campus and additional cleaning measures were also taken to clean areas throughout the campus.
The district said it would continue to follow all Pennsylvania Department of Health guidance and continue to monitor students and employees for any additional suspected or confirmed COVID-19 cases.
