Police are investigating a fiery crash that happened overnight in the Gettysburg square in Adams County.What we know- A 2002 Chevy Cavalier crashed into Lincoln Square and burst into flames around 12:45 a.m. Thursday.- Witnesses said the car was travelling “well in excess of the speed limit,” according to Gettysburg police. – A bystander pulled the driver, a 43-year-old man, out of the burning wreck. Police said he appeared to be intoxicated.- The man was taken to Gettysburg Hospital to be treated for moderate injuries.- A blood test was conducted on the driver to determine blood alcohol content.
