A tourist visiting Gettysburg recently captured some video footage of one of the historic battlefields that people are now asking if there are ghosts.
According to the New York Post, New Jersey-based Greg Yuelling recorded the clip on September 2 while traveling with his family.
The clip in question appears to show ghostly figures in the vicinity of two cannons on the battlefield.
Some people are not convinced.
The New Jersey Paranormal Research Organization wrote about the clip on their Facebook page that drops of water are likely to be the culprit.
"It's an illusion," said the organization. "The entities are really just the light that is distorted by the stripe on the windshield as the background elements move in the stripe."
The group suggests that people see ghosts based on the history of the battlefield. It's easy to believe that the ghost of a dead Civil War soldier would wander the grounds at night.
British tabloid The Sun spoke to Yuelling, who said his family heard strange noises before they saw the characters on the battlefield and, to the people in the car, the characters were as tall as people.
After watching the videos several times, Yuelling said he was now convinced that ghosts exist.
